  • F55 with Kowa Anamorphics – Frame size in viewfinder vs recorded image size

I’ve just shot some test footage on the Sony F55 with Kowa anamorphics. When I import the footage (4k RAW) into Premiere Pro CC I get a recorded image which is considerably wider than the image I framed up in the viewfinder. I’m told that this is due to the sensor using a larger area than standard 4:3 for anamorphic.

The question is, how do I get back the original crop that I framed for in CC so that the entire timeline is framed as it was originally?

    Thanks.
