f55 slog2/sgamut preset/plugin for AVID
handing off a CRAP ton of f55 footage to a post house for an edit. Camera shot XAVC HD slog2/sgamut. There’s too much for me to churn through in resolve so I’d like them to come up with a cut and round trip it.
Is there a way to view this footage in 709 (similar to the antler plugins for FCP) in Avid? they’re running 6.5.
Would LOVE to find a plugin.

Media Composer v7 allows for LUTs on AMA linking which is now in beta. For versions previous to v7 you can create a color correction that will get you close and apply it to a top track on the sequence side while editing. Not ideal, but can work for quick turnarounds.

Yeah, that’s what we do now until the #7 bring the support.
Got several fake LUTs (found from other avid users or created by me from scratch) in the end nothing more than a curve and as Michael points, it does the job for quick TA. It’s not 3D LUT but in the end it
Sort of works.
And yes, it’s putting the effect on a top track

But if it’s to work within the app,
