f numbers won’t work
I’m just getting started on FCP 5 on a 1.67 laptop and I noticed that the f number keys are not working for FCP. I believe f9 is an insert edit, but all it does is change the lighting on my screen. I’m sure it’s a simple fix. Thanks.

Working on a laptop? Go to system preferences and check the keyboard to use the F keys with applications.

Hold down the fn button on the keyboard.
