Eyes and mouth on inanimate object
Hello, sorry if this has been asked, but I could not find a post on it. I am looking to do an effect along the lines of Steven Odenkirks short comedy parodies like Thumb wars, Thumbtanic and bat thumb. I want take human eyes and mouth and put them on an inanimate object, in this case a plate of pancakes, (i know it’s weird). I was wondering what the best approach is. Would filming the actor`s mouth and eyes separate then masking them and putting them on footage of pancakes work best? I want to make sure the skin color matches that of the pancakes so it looks like they are connected.
