Eye animation in After Effects
I have found plenty of videos showing how to duplicate the image/layer 3-4 times creating the main eye “body” [in a mask] and the two separate eyelids masked + pined to where the eye closes. I am trying to see if there is another way to go about this? I have not found ANY OTHER information.
The animation I am attempting to make blink has an open and closed eyes png, separate from the main body. Both created on clip studio. I am trying to smoothly animate it without doing it like the above, as that is incredibly tedious.
Is there a way to “fold” or “squish” the open eye to a half way point leading into the closed ? I am still new so After Effects so I have no idea what to look up for this.
