    Hi all,

Just wanted to pop in and ask a question – the answer to which I hope is not terribly complex.

I’m modelling a series of body organs for a show open. ‘Current Health’

The resolve of the logo I’m HOPING will be the text kind of pushing out from inside the organs. So you’ll see what looks like extruded characters inside the organs pushing outward. What kind of tools would this require? I’m guessing a deformer might be the trick. -I supposed I could also graft the points from a text spline onto the surface of the organ poly and manually push out… let me know if there’s an easier way!!

    Thanks,
    Yussef

Unless the logo needs to separate from the organ probably it can be done with just Displacement in a texture.

Is this animatable? I’m hoping to have the extrude depth change over time… But that sounds like a really good idea. Thanks!

yes, either by keyframing the Strength and/or height in the displacement tab or by using an animated texture.
