I am trying to extrude a pegboard sort of table that was created in Illustrator. I am able to import it just fine into C4D, but extruding it is not quite working. Not all of the holes are being created and I’m not sure how to correct the issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have attached the file below:

    4746_board.c4d.zip

    Hi,

I see what the problem is.

You have duplicated points in your illustrator file.

If you click on ‘point selection’ and then with your selection tool(Make sure ‘only visible elements’ is checked in the attributes panel) drag over the spine and press delete you will see that there are still points on the screen.

You need to check your illustrator doc and delete the duplicates and then it should be fine.

    Cheers,

    Rich

Thank you so much for your help! Someone else had provided the Illustrator file, I would never have thought of looking for that.
