  • Extreme artifacts appear when rendering/ exporting

Posted by Maarten Rischen on August 20, 2019 at 7:04 am

Whenever I export or render in/out on the timeline, this happens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9quRbdSyaik

None of the flickering, the green stuff or the ‘film strip’ are intentional, they all just appear. When I export to different formats than H.264 the nature of the artifacts change but never dissapear. I tried copy/paste everything to a new sequence, to no avail.
Been wrestling with this for a week straight now, haven’t solved an inch so far. Any input highly appreciated! Thanks so much!

We need more information. What footage wrapper/codec are you starting with. What are your render settings? What other file types have you tried rendering to? We need specifics in order to be helpful.

Definitely need more information. But in the meantime, have you tried Software only render?
