  Extreme 2 out put problems

  i just got the Extreme 2 today and put into my Mac Pro. i finally got a picture from the timeline to my monitor, and it looks good. i can’t drop to tape yet because the deck (UVW-1800) keeps saying “no signal”, even though i’m pretty sure i have it all hooked up right. it’s at least getting a good signal from FCP so the component inputs must be right. for sync, i took the Y out from the Extreme card to the (upper left) ref in, and then did the loop from the upper right ref in to the Y input on the deck. this is how i hooked it up before and it always worked. any ideas?
