  Extracting tools on video

  In a video clip, I need to extract a speaker from the background. I have AE CS4 and Photoshop CS4. I *could* pull it off in AE, but it looks like I should be able to do a better job using the extraction/selection tools in Photoshop CS4 Extended.

  I can’t figure out how to automate the selection tool beyond the first frame. (Yes, I’ve made the video in to a smart object.) The tool works perfectly on the first frame only. I’ve searched for two days for an answer, including the online Adobe help. I could use a nudge in the right direction, please! Bill
