I want to capture full size images of my PAL MPG2 progressive scan file, in 720 X 576

The frame capture function in Vegas 6 greatly reduces the image size to 197 x 144
I can find no way of adjusting this in Vegas
Can some one help, or should I use some other software to extract full size images from my MPG2 / AVI files ??

    Thank you

Set your Preview Window to Best/Full before capturing.
It won’t be quite as large as you want but that’s as good as it gets.

As Mike said, after changing the preview to “Best (Full)”, you still won’t get the full 720 X 576 because Vegas automatically converts from non-square to square pixels for you. If, for some reason, you DO want the full 720 X 576 with non-square pixels, you can always do a “Snapshot to clipboard” and then paste it into your paint program.

To simplify things, you can use a script to save the snapshots. This will automatically change it to “Best (Full)” (and change a couple other settings as well), save the snapshot, and then reset all the settings back to where you had them.

Send me an e-mail and I’ll work you around that. YOUR e-mail is not banned. However, ALL hotmail, gmail, yahoo, mail is (too many spam registrants using those domains). E-mail me and we’ll get you set up.
