  • extra quotation marks on batch import

    Hi,

I’ve recently started doing batch imports for still images (I’m working in FCP 7.0). I open a .txt file in excel, fill in the fields I want and then import into Final Cut Pro. It all works fine, except in the log note column if I’ve entered quotation marks around a word in the .txt document, FCP adds an additional set of quotation marks around the already existing ones on import. Subsequently, I end up with words looking like “”this”” instead of “this”. Is there a way to include quotation marks but avoid FCP adding extra?

    Thanks,
    Matt

I meant to say batch list imports in the original post.
