    External Preview Not Working

    Hello All,
    I just loaded Vegas 7.0e onto a new computer. The problem is that I can’t see a preview on my external monitor. When I go to the “Preview Device Preferences” the device is set for “OHCI Complient IEEE 1394/DV”. In the “Details” window it says “Hot pluggable device” and below that line it says “Device unavailable”. My firewire goes through a Canopus ADVC110. Other than the new computer my setup is the same as before and the external monitor worked fine. I am able to capture video in Vegas through this current setup. Any help would be much appreciated.

    I got it to work. There are two firewire ports on the card and I tried the other port and the preview showed up. Any idea as to why this would be?
