    Hi everybody.
I have just set up my new workstation, and am trying to get my external monitor working with Premiere CS6.
I have a Nvidia Quadro 6000 with a Tesla C2075. The signal goes out with a Black Magic Intensity Pro card through HDMI to the monitor.
The playback settings are grayed out in the program monitor. Can someone please tell me what I’m doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance
    Simon

A picture is only as good as the glass it comes through. And the person using the camera has something to do with it too.

    Hi Simon,

In Premiere, go to Edit > Preferences > Playback and make sure that the “Blackmagic device” is checked, and then check the “Setup” to select proper output format from Intensity to your display.

    Thanks

    Hi Jeff,
thanks for taking the time to respond.
Im not at work at the moment, but in the preferencesplayback box there was only something likr Adobe DV, and a couple of other choices concerning the computer monitors. Nothing about the Black Magic card.
Any idea how I can get Premiere to see it?
    Thanks
    Simon

What can I say? I aimed high in the negotiations for a new workstation, and struck the boss in a good mood 😉

    Hi Simon,

Did you install the Black Magic device drivers? Premiere will not “see” the card otherwise.
