external monitor setup

My work mainly consists of editing tv commercials/short movies/ commercial internet videos/
I’m trying to set up a professional monitoring setup
Just received the Blackmagic Multibridge Pro…
Now it’s time to buy a decent external monitor…My eye caught the detail that the Multibridge has a HDMI output for HD monitoring,
and the monitor of JVC (the DT-V24L1U) is HDMI compatibleThe DT-V24L1U is the little brother of the JVC DT-V24L1D except doesn’t have HDSDI support…
(and therefore alot cheaper)Would this be a good setup for monitoring HD as well as SD
Or do you need monitoring through HDSDI instead of HDMIMaybe someone can give me some feedback on this

It’s a decent monitor, however it falls off radically if you’re not looking straight at it… If that’s not a problem, it should work fine. Not seen SD on one, but figure it’s OK, or you could keep the SD monitor you’ve been working with.
