External Hard Drive recommendation please!
Usually buy them from Promax… they are going through some sort of re-organization or something so they don’t have any in stock and I need to buy THREE 1.5 OR 2TB Hard Drives ASAP. Raid not necessary… these drives travel with me so they need to be somewhat small and mount via firewire. Checked out Lacie and their top one is currently out of stock. HELP!!!

Western Digital offers some drives in these setups that you could use.

I would stay away from the WD Mybook series (OK for storage not for editing)
G-tech, OWC, Wiebetch and also rocstor are good sources. FW800 and go for a 2 drive raid
for better throughput. I have been using OWC for years and have not had a problem.
