  External Hard Drive accidentally unplugged while burning Blu Ray in Encore cs4

  Thanks in advance for any advice!
  I have been working feverishly to get my film on a blu ray using Encore cs4. While in the midst of a burn my external hard drive was accidentally unplugged. The drive itself is still recognized and all seems normal with its contents except for the file that contains all of my material for said film. The file count went from around 30 in that folder to about 10 and the 10 that are there are labeled with some kind of gibberish. Does anyone know of anything I can do to salvage this folder full of very very important content?

  macbook pro 10.6.8 snow leopard. 4 gb ram. Seagate 2tb external Goflex usb 3.0 but using firewire cable.
