I have my FCP set-up on a lap top. I set it up and use it on a Lacie Drive at home. I now want to add a smaller portable drive for quick stuff on the road.
How do I set FCP up for this?
Whenever I try to launch FCP with the portable drive it tells me it’s missing the Lacie drive.

Plug the new drive in via FW. When FCP yells at you about the missing drive, just click the “reset scratch disks” button. Browse the finder window and click on your new drive. Next hit “continue” and FCP will boot up with your drive set as the default scratch drive.
