    Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone is or has used an external graphics card via thunderbolt on a Macbook Pro and maybe recommend a setup.

I’m looking to a more portable solution to grade somedays.

    Thanks.

thunderbolt 2 don not have enough bandwidth to drive external GPU, maybe TB3.

Check out the Sonnet Thunderbolt expansion chassis – while T-bolt 2 may not have the bandwidth to get 100% of the performance out of the highest end GPU cards, you can must certainly get a good bit of extra performance that your built-in graphics card cannot achieve

FYI, the latest Sonnet T-bolt expansion chassis will be upgradable to T-bolt 3 when it is released.

So did you get a Bizon? and how is it working. I’m considering the same thing to upgrade my MacBook Pro Early 2013.
