Extending length of video frame in project without slowing video speed
Hi,
I am working with a range of AE Templates for intros and promo.
In alot of these templates, there will be a slide show style, and they are usually on screen for a period of around 5 seconds (probably because alot of people just use photos).
If I stretch the time length for that part of the composition, the section extends longer which is great, I can fit good 10-20 second chunks of video in, but it it into slow motion. I don’t want this.
Is there any way I can extend a section of a template without compromising the speed of the video I put into it?

If the video is contained within a precomp, you’ll have to open up that precomp and extend its duration, then adjust the timing of layer in/out points and keyframes in the main comp.

Yes… my video length already exceeds the duration of the precomp…

You can click and drag. You can lasso-select keyframes the same way you’d lasso-select icons on your desktop, then drag them left or right. You can drag layers in the timelime left and right. You can drag the end of a layer to extend it.
