  • Extending Certain Template Assets?

    Hi everyone,

I’m relatively new to After Effects and still have some gaps in my knowledge when it comes to certain specific things. I’m working with a presentation-style template with constantly moving shapes in the background and I want to extend the slow down only the middle part of each slide without slowing down the transitions between the different slides. As I understand it, you would usually go to the specific asset you would want to extend and move the keyframes for it accordingly. The problem I’m running into is that no matter where I look I can’t find keyframes attached to these specific assets in the timeline. I’m wondering if maybe there’s a specific place I’m not thinking to look for? Hopefully that makes sense. I can always add screenshots if necessary.

Thanks a ton guys. Your help would be huge.

It is quite possible those layers are hidden with the “shy” layer toggle.
