Extender problem
I got a 1.6 extender for the xl camera, i had not used it in along while since i had stored it somewhere and forgot where. I found it and tried it out but it would not work, no image. What could be wrong? (It was stored in its case sime where at the bottom of a closet)

I would try carefully cleaning the surfaces where the extender mates to the camera body and the lens.
Also check for obstructions where the small pin from the camera goes in to the extender and the pin from the extender goes in to the lens.
