Expressions that can retrieve text created by expressions
Hey all,
I’m attempting to drive a conditional statement using the sourcetext of a text layer. Essentially, if the text says “blue” I want the box to be visible, and otherwise invisible.
The issue I’m running into is that the text that appears is driven by an expression within the sourcetext which is pulling text from a .csv array value. My conditional statement doesn’t seem to be recognizing that value, despite it displaying “blue” in my composition.

If there’s actually a space between the comma and blue, that might be the problem. Try changing the expression to looking for ” blue” and see if that works.
