  Expressions Documentation Docs?

  Hi,
  maybe a silly question.

  I’m searching for an expressions documentation for After Effects Expressions. the linked reference in the after effect help menu at helpx.adobe.com hopefully isn’t all there is? It’s hasn’t even a search function (yeah, one that searches on the whole website and gives back random articles).
  In Flash AS3 times they had a really elaborated documentation where one could look up all the given methods and properties to a specific class.

  In my case I want to look up all the methods available for a textfield, or the textSource, I can’t find out how that works?
  Or if I want to find everything available for a shape-path.
  Or how the indexing system of a layers properties works.

  I find single tutorials on that everywhere, but aren’t there centralized docs from adobe?
