    Hello
I’m pretty new to AE, so please forgive me if this is a stupid question.

I have an Illustrator document that I’ve imported and turned into a shape layer. I want to use trim paths to incrementally show the paths of the drawing. I’m using a slider on an adjustment layer to show the start point of the initial path. I have 2 keyframes on the slider layer which are the 0% and 100% position of the start point. I think I have all this working correctly, but the problem arises when all the other lines I want to gradually show (each delayed by 0.2 seconds) are linked to it using expressions. The start point of each line appears to be delayed correctly, but rather than the lines finishing in a delayed manner, they all finish at the same time as the first line.
Is it possible to get each line to be drawn over a fixed period of time, for instance 0.5 secs? so they finish in a delayed manner?
    Many thanks for any advice.
    Russ
