This is a job for scripting and not Expressions. You may want to do a Google for “After Effects” and scripts. It doesn’t sound like something too tricky but I’ve not ventured into scripting – so … .

    Good Luck!

    hi
I did a search before posting but i haven’t found one yet (redefinery.com,cr green.com,adobeforum.com,aenhancers etc.)
I thought it would be a piece of cake for a lot of people here to write this one.
    Thanks anyway 🙂

This might work, I don’t have AE 7 (yet) so can’t test it.

    This works on AE 6.5

    1) Select all layers

    2) “ee” to expose expressions only

    3) select all the expressions, by pulling a rectangle selection down, starting just under the layer “twirly” (to the left of the stopwatch)
then pulling that rectangular selection all the way down from the top layer to the bottom layer.

    4) Animation > Remove expression (Alt + Shift + =)

The only tricky part is drawing the rectangular selection (with the standard Selection Tool (V)) you have to be to the left of the layer name (left of the stopwatch), if you try it to the right you only select that expression.
