Expression that makes color change react to other color change
Ok, difficult title, but let me explain,
I am looking for an expression that makes a solid layer change it’s color from e.g. gray to green, whenever a certain masked area in a video file changes its color, (example: grey area becomes green, solid layer reacts by changing from grey to green; green area becomes grey again, solid layer reacts by changing from green to gray)
I don’t know if this is possible in after effects, but im hoping for the best,thanks in advance,

How about applying Fill effect to the solid and adding
yourComp.yourVideoLayer.sampleImage(desiredPointOnTheVideo, radius = [.5, .5], postEffect=true, t=time)
as its color property expression?
