Can I use scripting in after effects to write to a text file? I want to write out keyframe values for a particular property to a comma-delimited text file. If that’s not possible, is there a way to display all the values in some kind of debugger so I can copy the values from ae and paste them into a text file?

    Thanks,
    Jason

Sure you can write files to disc using scripts. Check AEnhancers.com for some inspiration.

Have you tried selecting all the keyframes, copy, then paste to text editor (or excel)? You get some header stuff, but you also get all the tab-delimited values. Check it out.
