Posted by Khaos119 on August 11, 2006 at 3:03 ami have forgotten how to make my text expression only scale on “x” to my audio. i know you have to change something on the [temp,temp] line… can anyone help?

August 11, 2006 at 5:30 amExpland the expression line down, and you’ll see two lines. The [temp,temp] is an array, the first “temp”, refers to X and the second one affects Y. So just change the second value to 100 or whatever value you like.
The “temp” is stuck in there automatically when you pickwhip, so it might be a bit easier to change that to a name that you can remember when you come back to it.
If you want to keyframe the Y value later, then highlight the second array and pickwhip the Y Scale on your layer. Or type “transfor.scale[1], whichever you find easier.
