Expression for trail around a globe
I’m creating a 3D globe in after Effects using Element 3D. Ive got the globe working but I’m trying to use expressions to have lines going around the globe from one place to another (see image)
I have circles for each location, all leaving Britain and going to various other locations. The line is trapcode particular parented to a null (Traveller) and landing on a location (eg layer named 2).
The expressions Ive used are working fine, apart from the fact that the lines are going around the sides of the globe, instead of taking the shortest route (in the case of the image, across the top).

Can anyone see why this would be happening please?

I also have sliders which on the traveller that controls the x&y and also the height
