Expression for Timecode Generator, so I don’t have to render for hours???
That’s all I wanted to know, is if there is a time code generated expression that reads it with 01:00:00:00 timecode, thanks

Just apply this expression to the Source Text of a text layer:
timeToTimecode(3600 + time)
That should do it.

It seems that this doesn’t do much as far as render time, is it a big difference between the expression and the generator effect?

Probably not. Maybe I don’t understand your issue. It sounds like you want to apply a time code without having to render, but I’m guessing that’s not it.

I plan to render, I was just wondering if the Expression had any benefits over the generator effect as to limiting the size of the render or limiting the time of the render, but it doesn’t appear to.
