Expression for Percentage Counter with Commas for Hundredths
Hello everyone! Hope you’re all having a good evening.
I’ve been trying an expression for a counter with percentage signal at the end of it.
With both the slider.counter or linear function methods it works – but the hundredths are automatically converted to dots instead of commas – i.e.: “18,63” on a slider counter turns into “18.63” on the output text.
Mind you all that I’ve also tried with the “Numbers” effect, but it doesn’t give me the visual output required for the project because I’ll also have to animate position, scale, amongst other properties as well.
I’ve searched on the forums about this subject, but the answers I’ve found didn’t seem to work. If you could help on this one, it’d be much appreciated.
If you know how to code into the source text – so it gives more flexibility to animate and keyframe other properties – it would be perfect.Cheers and good jobs for us all!

You can use string.replace(“.” , “,”) where string is your string variable.
