Greetings CowPokes – is there a way to get the mask mode selection via Expression?
maskModes exists for the scripting API but there doesn’t seem to be one for Expressions. I tried the propertyGroup() way but either it’s not possible or I’m not doing it right.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Bestest!

I don’t know of a way to access the mask mode from an expression. If you find out that there is a way, please come back and post it!

IF I get back to it – moved on to other matters. My thoughts – since there isn’t an Expression to access it then the propertyGroup way would be the only option and you’re expert in this area. I’ll have to think of a roundabout way to do it OR file it away as “Unimportant”. 🙂

Yeah, I sniffed around for a while using propterGroup() but I didn’t get anywhere. I don’t think it’s there, but I’d be happy to be proven wrong.

It’s the same issue with getting a Shape Layer’s mode – the pattern with the issue is when a Drop Menu occurs on the same and first line of the propertyGroup(). And the 3D Meshes too – the Mesh Options property.
