  • Expression for 24 p Jittery Title Roll

A while back a co – worker of mine asked about a problem with a title roll being jittery when exported. We were given an expression.

What we are doing is importing the Illistrater file into After effects and changing the position values to create a roll. The title is a alpha matte making the white words 0% opacity while the black background of the layer remaing, crawl across a white solid background, posistioned behind the mattlayer. As I said we were given an expression which was supposed to counter the Jitter.
The problem here is that none of us knows how to input an expression into After Effects. Is there a button on the layer? Do we have to open up the position switch, within the layer, to somehow to input it??? Where is the xrpression function of After effects? A pull down menu?

    Help…
    Thanks.

Just Alt+click the Position stopwatch and enter (or paste) the text of your expression.
