Express Slot compatibity w/ SxS Memory
Have an EX1 on the way (in rout) and so I’m earnestly looking for a laptop (Used/Online) to buy for managing/backing up the SxS cards in the field. The laptop I’m thinking of buying (See Link) shows in its specs that there is one ExpressCard™ Slot,
My confusion is that (from what I’ve read) there are 54 & 34 Express Slots (I think this laptop is a 54)

Does anyone know if this laptop will allow me to plug the cards directly into this Express Slot? (Even if it is a 54?) I think a 54 will accept both 34&54 while the 34 only accepts the 34. (True?)
Just thought I would ask before I go out an buy this one.

I would personally stay away from any Toshiba laptop. Every one I know of has gone in for repairs.
But, that aside, an Express slot is an Express slot. There is no difference as far as the cards are concerned.

I know it’s just anecdotal evidence but I’ve been using a refurbished Toshiba laptop for over a year without a single problem. I’ve had problems in the past with the build quality of dell and hp units.
