  • Exposure Control in DaVinci Resolve?

    Hi,

I’m new to DaVinci Resolve and trying to finish up color correction on a project. I’m used to programs like Lightroom which includes options such as Exposure in order to brighten an image.

In Resolve I only seem to have Luminance. Am I missing something? Are there any other control panels that include additional color controls that I might not be aware of?

    Thanks in advance!

I think “exposure” is probably close to gain but more crude. In Resolve you have Lift, Gamma and Gain representing bottom, mid and top of the image. Exposure is probably close to moving all three at once.

You can also use the offset controls which move the entire signal range up or down. In the GUI, you can hold the middle mouse and drag to move all three together. On the panels, there is a Master, and individual RGB controls for these.
