exportng footage for after effects
Hi,
I wasn’t sure whether to put this question here or on the After Effects forum, so I posted to both. I work with Avid and After Effects. However, I don’t have Automatic Duck, nor do I have the budget to get it right now. I know that to import to Avid from After Effects, it’s best to use an OMF file, but how about exporting to After Effects? I currently use Quicktime Reference files, but I notice that sometimes my video looks grainy, when the source video doesn’t. I assume this is from compression. I have tried to export from Avid as an OMF file, but for some reason After Effects doesn’t recognize it. Any suggestions? Thanks.
