    two part question…
    1. how do you export an uncompressed full HD file? when exporting quicktime file as uncompressed, it only allows me to output in NTSC(720×480)

    2. Why does the EX1 preset only allow %50 quality when i’m exporting with mathced sequence settings checked?(this was only way i could get export in full HD without recompressing into H.264 Blu-Ray)

Is there a similar feature in CS5 like FCP’s ‘Export Quicktime Movie’ which does not recompress files and exports the same resolution?

I recommend you use this codec instead of uncompressed.

    https://www.avid.com/US/solutions/workflow/DNxHD-Codec

“Uncompressed HD delivers superior image quality, but data rates and file sizes can stop a workflow dead in its tracks. Avid DNxHD delivers both efficiency and quality without compromises.”

    and yes it’s free.
