Exporting XML
Upon exporting an XML sequence to import into Resolve I get a FCP Translation Results page listing all the issues I have with my sequence. Below is an example of some of the issues.
Translation issue:
Synthetic Item (Transparent Video) not translated, Slug used as a placeholder.

Sequence at 00:00:00:00, video track 1: Effect on Clip not translated.
Translation issue:
Sequence at 00:00:00:00, video track 1: 3-Way Color Corrector on Clip : translation is approximate and should be reviewed.
Translation issue:
Sequence at 00:00:04:10, video track 1: 3-Way Color Corrector on Clip : translation is approximate and should be reviewed.Footage is Canon 5D. No FX
Can anyone help me with this issue?

These issues need to be manually reviewed by you. It means that some features and effects in Premiere cannot be recreated by Resolve and you have to look at them – they are not system issues.
If you have transparent video, that may be because of an adjustment layer or other feature – it’s been replaced by a slug (solid color clip)
The settings for the 3 way color corrector in Premiere do not convert completely to Resolve, May be best guessing these adjustments and applying them to the clip in question.

Okay. I do have a transparent layer over a clip. If I understand correctly it won’t transfer over to Resolve so I will need to re-apply it back in PrPro?
