exporting xdcam format into a dvd
Hello guys, I shot some work using Sony xdcam 1080×720p and was wondering what the best format to export this work to a dvd and still mentain the high quality.

Thank you. I intend to produce an authored DVD with the content.
I shot the documentary using an xdcam (1280×720) format. Am editing using the same format on FCP but would love to find out what the best possible format I can use to export this work.
I know DVD is standard definition thats why I need some help -
