Exporting work without filling of rendering the hard disk
Hi everyone, I need to export 2 min of my work with rendered clips (effects, retime, ecc..).
So I copy the clips, create a new project (timeline) and paste.
This new timeline has the same parameters of the original but the rendering are lost.
How can I make this without rendering more times the same effects?
(excuse me for the bad english…)

Select your project in the project library, hit Command+D to duplicate; select “Duplicate Project Only” and make sure you have “Include Render Files” checked. In your duplicated project, get rid of any clips you don’t want and export the rest.

Thanks a lot Jason, it’s work but everytime I need to export something I must duplicate the rendering files.
Is there another way without fill the rendering hard disk (like FCP7)?Giampaolo

I haven’t tried exporting using compressor, but if you do, you should be able to set an in and out. I’m sure it will be much slower than exporting from FCP7, but that’s another post.
