I’m using the Media100HD on tiger 10.4.1 and QT 7.
I want to get the WMV files from Media100 HD.
    I’m trying the flip4mac S/W for it.
    But there is a error.
The error message is like below
” Could not complete the ‘Export from edit suite’ Command because there is a parameter error ”

Please help me to get the best method for WMV.

You need to export a “by reference” file from Media 100 HD first, then open up the reference file in QuickTime player and export your WMV file from there.

I need the Quicktime pro for exporting. Right?

    Aloha,

I read your answer about exporting Media 100 files to wmv and seem to have a somewhat similar problem.

Yesterday I tried to burn a 20-minute video onto iDVD. Original was created in Media 100 on a Mac G5 running OS10.3.9.

I first converted the file to QuickTime Pro 7, but after burning the DVD, the sound was barely audible. Even at highest volume on external speakers, it was like the people were speaking very softly. So the audio track is there, it’s just that the volume is low.

I went back one generation to the QuickTimePro file and played it–same thing, the lips moved but sound was very low.

The sound on the original is perfect. Do you have an idea what is going wrong in the conversion to QuickTime?

    Thanks,

    Mac Simpson
