exporting with quicktime

I’m going to guess you’re using FCP 6 or earlier. (This might be even a Leopard or tiger ‘feature.)

Basically, the OS knows that FCP ‘owns’ those files.

Get info on one, change the program that opens them to QuickTime and then Apply to all.

Hi,

If you are wanting to send this quicktime movie to someone using a PC or a MAC without FCP I would suggest using export using quicktime conversion. It gives you more options for movie settings etc. This .mov will open directly in QuickTime.
