exporting with mpegstreamclip
I was trying to export with mpeg streamclip. Made a non-self contained file out of fcp. Does anyone do this? If so what settings do you use? When I export from FCP at 1080 h.264 on ‘high’ my 3 minute movie comes out to about 128mbs. But on streamclip it comes out to 500mbs. How can I get this same small file size?

I don’t use MPEG Streamclip for much, but can you adjust the bit rate to match that of the setting in FCP’s export? If so, they’ll be the same size… But if it’s just low medium and high quality adjustments, the only way to make it smaller is to pick Medium or Low over high.
