  • Exporting with Final Cut Express

I’ve exported many times by ‘Using QuickTime Conversion’ but this is the first time I’ve received the ‘Codec error’ message.

I’ve looked at some online help discussions but haven’t found anything to work. I’m assuming that because I don’t see the Encode Using Compressor option it’s not available with Final Cut Express?? I don’t understand why this is the first time I’ve seen this error message when I’ve exported hundreds of times the same way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Try trashing prefs, repairing permissions and run Disk Warrior.
