Exporting with 4 identical stereo audio channels
Hi everyone,
I have been asked to export an edited video with four identical stereo channels.
I’ll explain: in the timeline there are several tracks (voiceover, effects, music, etc.). They all need to be together in one single stereo channel, and I have to have this audio channel x 4. I don’t know if that was clear enough, but I’m hoping so.
Any advice will be much appreciated.

One option I think would work, is to export all audio to one file, then import it back in the sequence, four times, in the four different tracks. Then set the sequence settings to 4 audio outputs (dual mono) and assign each track to each output… but I was hoping there would be a better, simpler option.

You cannot have one channel that’s stereo. It’s against the laws of nature. You can have a mono channel, or a STEREO LEFT channel, or a STEREO RIGHT channel. But not a single channel that’s stereo.
So you can have 4 tracks, and export it as A1 Stereo Left, A2 Stereo Right, A3 Stereo Left, and A4 Stereo right.

i think you should double check w the client.
what you say they want doesn’t make sense to me:
why have all the audio together in 2 identical steteo pairs?it’s more likely they want some difference between the two.
one everything except VO & one VO
OR
one everything, the other everything except VOor some other combo
