  • Exporting Using File Name?

Posted by Whitney Sickels on September 26, 2011 at 9:08 am

    Hi there,

I need to export an entire catalog, but it would be most beneficial if it could export using the same file name. I need to export them to a specific format (not an MP4, therefore setting my proxy to do this does not work). I see the only options in preferences are using Clip Name, or the BIN and TAPE name as a prefix. Neither of these will work for me.

Is there a way to choose your own export settings and use the file name as the file name? 🙂

    Cheers,
    Whitney

    HI Whitney
what you want to do is select assets in browser , then go file Export Movies . You then goto a tabbed dialog pane. Choose your compression settings then goto the second tab for Batch options .Select exact names and all of your movies will be transcoded and named as you want as a batch . There are also a couple of extra options available that you may find useful
