Exporting two separated audio channels
Hello everybody.
I need to export a clip from my FCP timeline. I need this new clip to contain the two audio channels mounted in the timeline and I need them separated, as in the timeline, not a stereo or mono mix but CH1 and CH2 whit independent information. Is there a way to do this?

Sure. You simply need to disable the tracks you don’t want to hear and export the section you need using the tracks you do want to hear. So, right click on the track and you see the track enable/disable toggle. Does this make sense to you???

when you export “audio to aiff” you can choose grouped channels or stereo mix. choose “grouped channels” and you will have seperate files for each track.

Thanks. That is a good step. But I need audio AND video in the clip. Is there a way to get the same resoult for audio (grouped channels) but with video included?.

under user prefs change your audio set-up to dual mono (not stereo).
in your timeline settings set audio prefs to grouped. (make a new timeline not just change the setting)
uncheck downmix in the audio mixer
apply your clips
export
