    Hello all,

I am trying to edit my director’s reel and I have about 10 projects that I need footage from. All were shot in miniDV and captured using the DV-NTSC preset in Final Cut Express. Most of them have a lot of color correction, graphics, animation, and imported DVD footage that has been de-interlaced in the project. I want to be able to export each project as it’s own quicktime file both to store them and edit them on a separate hard drive than any of the source material is on. Right now, I am exporting using quicktime conversion 10-bit uncompressed with framerate set at current and de-interlace checked. I hope to use these files in Final Cut and re-edit them into my reel. Is this the correct export for zero quality loss? Please let me know if you need any more info as I am new to these kinds of conversions. Thanks!

    Joe
