    Exporting to Photoshop

    I am trying to export the layers of my Motion 4 project to photoshop. I know that Motion has the ability to export to photoshop but I have only figured out how to export a “flattened” image of my project, not as individual layers. Is there any way to do this so my client can tweak it on there own for print?

    Not all at once, but you can select layers and use Export Selection…

    Thanks for your response.

    My issue with doing it that way is that many of the layers have alpha layers or are keyed and when I export each layer individually, these attributes don’t come along with them.

    You need to export using a format that supports the alpha channel, like tiff or png.
